| Last summer James Adams, a Director of Dancing Octopus, set out on a map-cap solo cycle dash across France. Starting at Cherbourg in the north, his route swept down the French West Coast before crossing the Pyrenees and breaking through to Perpignan on the Med. | |

The tortuous trip covered more than 1100 miles in just thirteen days and passed through some of the most beautiful regions of France - visiting towns such as Rennes, Bordeaux, Bayonne, Biarritz and Lourdes. Full details + photographs of the hilarious stages can be found on Dancing Octopus - so please, read on ! In association with Stone FM  , Staffordshire's Brightest Radio Station, daily live updates were broadcast from suitable (and some not so suitable) locations "en-route". Entertainment played a key role but the trip also had a very serious purpose - to raise badly needed funds for The Donna Louise Trust.... of course if you've been listening to StoneFM and want to put faces to the voices, then keep checking these pages; we've got pictures of them all - there's James (the cyclist), there's Tony ("The Aussie"), Suzie, Michelle ("The Californians"), Sandrine and many many more... They'll all gradually appear as we get time to develop this colourful section of Dancing Octopus. Dancing Octopus ... an Ocean of Entertainment ! A special "Thank You" goes to all the wonderful people met over the cycle tour - families who cooked meals, shop assistants who filled water bottles, people who repaired wheels, and those innocent bystanders who were simply drafted in to talk live on Stone FM.
