Darryl's Charity Walk 2002 Regular visitors to the Dancing Octopus site will already appreciate our support and encouragement for charity fund raising. A passing glance at the exploits of our Managing Director shows just some of the activities and charities we have recently been involved in supporting.It also goes without saying that being a website based in the Midlands we are especially proud to support events that not only benefit their respective charities, but also which help to promote the West Midlands area and it's fantastic people.  Consequently, when we heard details of Darryl Davies' proposed sponsored walk from Betws-Y-Coed in North Wales back to Wolverhampton, we were delighted to add our backing to his local fundraising event.Darryl's walk is aimed at raising money for PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy), sometimes known as 'Dudley Moore's Disease' as it is the same disease from which the British born actor, musician and comedian suffered from during the late 1990s until his death in March 2002. Start date for the walk will be 28th August, finishing three days later in Wolverhampton and covering on average 33 miles per day. The event will be conducted as a race with teams of two, and Darryl is looking for further volunteers to join the walk.
